Abstract
The previous rovibrational analysis of the OCS was baaed only on Che energies and the rotational constants. We propose a least$^{\prime\prime}$ squares analysis on all the microwave and infrared measurements: we select experimental frequencies for a few J values and we use them directly as experimental data. This analysis has been applied, to the principal isotopic species of carbonyl sulphide $(^{16}O^{12} C^{32}S$, $^{18}O^{12}C^{3}2S$, and $^{16}O^{13} C^{32}S)$, and yields more precise parameters than previously possible. Finally, we propose a molecular geometry for OCS.
