Abstract

The Raman-shifted output of a single YAG-pumped dye laser has been used to produce two-photon transitions from the ground X1Σ+g state to the 21Σ+g state to the 7Li2. The lower vibrational levels of this excited state have been studied by Barakat etal.1; our work extends the measurements to the dissociation limit at v=24. The molecular constants and potential curve will be presented.
