Description

These soft maple posts set in 1944 failed in 1948. The group on the left are untreated checks. The remaining groups were treated as follows, left to right. A & B: Creosote, 15-second cold dip. C: Copper naphthenate, 15-second cold dip. D: Copper tallate, hot and cold bath open tank treatment. Location Taylor farm, OAES. Item #5533
