Abstract

The A-type band 2ν2+ν3 of 14N16O2 has been studied with 0.030cm−1 resolution. The Ka = 4, 5, and 6 subbands are perturbed by interactions with both the 4ν2 and 2ν3 states. Preliminary estimates of the band center and rotational constants are: \nu_{0}=3092.483\pm 0.002\mbox{ cm}^{-1}\alpha^{\prime}-\alpha^{\prime\prime}060{B}^{\prime}-\beta^{\prime\prime}0.0000081{C}^{\prime}-{C}^{\prime\prime}0.0000081, where errors cited are 3 standard deviation. In addition, centrifugal distortion constants have been obtained. The values obtained permit the calculation of refined values of several vibrational and rotation-vibrational interaction constants.
