Infrared studies have been made of $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}CO2-13CO2$ mixed crystals over a wide range of concentration. The absorption frequencies of the $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}C18O16O$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C18O16O$ species resulting from naturally occurring $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">18</mrow>}O$, and the shapes of the $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}C16O2$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C16O2$ bands, show definite dependence on the $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}CO2:13CO2$ concentration ratio. The quantitative effects of concentration on band shapes and positions will be presented and discussed.
