Abstract

The cyclopropane $\bullet$ dimethylamine $(CYC\bullet DMA) complex is the last of three cyclopropane $\bullet$ amine complexes that we have studied using a pulsed nozzle, molecular beam Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. Assignment of the spectra reveals a stacked structure in which the amine is positioned above the cyclopropane ring plane. A comparison will be made with this complex and the others in the series that we have examined. The rotational spectrum of cyclopropane $\bullet$ methanol $(CYC\bullet MET)$ is complicated by two internal motions, causing the spectrum to be split into many transitions. A fit of the A states has been obtained and efforts to understand the spectrum and structure will be discussed.
