The infrared spectrum of $NO2F$ has been investigated in the region from $2-25\mu$ by means of infrared prism spectrometers. Twenty-seven absorption bands have been observed, including five of the six fundamental vibrations. The spectrum can be interpreted on the basis of the planer structure with $C2v$ symmetry given by the microwave $studies,1$ and bands can almost all be identified from the band contours.
