Abstract
Absorptivity calculations for carbon dioxide in the 12 to 18 micron region have been performed by direct integration with respect to frequency for various optical masses and pressures. The most abundant isotopes have been included in the calculations. Comparisons of these calculations with experimental spectra have resulted in new estimates of the intensities for the individual bands.
