Abstract

We have constructed a Stark-modulated microwave spectrometer the absorption cell of which may be used at X-band at higher frequencies and at temperatures up to $900^{\circ} C$. This instrument has been used to measure the microwave spectrum of lithium $chloride.^{1}$ Details of the design and performance of the spectrometer will be given.
