Abstract

We have constructed a Stark-modulated microwave spectrometer the absorption cell of which may be used at X-band at higher frequencies and at temperatures up to 900∘C. This instrument has been used to measure the microwave spectrum of lithium chloride.1 Details of the design and performance of the spectrometer will be given.
