The infrared spectrum of the $\nu 1$ band of trans-Nitrous Acid has been recorded with a high resolution spectrometer. A simultaneous deconvolution and smoothing program were used to enhance the spectral resolution from approximately $0.032cm-1$ to $0.013cm-1$. The analysis of this OH stretching band indicates that it has an A-type structure.
