Abstract

The rotational spectrum of the weakly bound complex OCS CO2 has been measured using a pulsed beam Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. The rotational constants of the major isotopic form are A-4454.590 MHz, B-1517.743 MHz, and C−1129.707 MHz. The molecule is planar: its structure is analogous to the C2h structure of (CO2)2 as determined from high resolution infrared spectroscopy by R. E. Miller etal.1 Analysis of the spectrum, structure, and dipole moment will be presented.
