Abstract

The resonance functions for line-width and shift calculations, in either the straight line or the parabolic $approximation^{1}$, can be resolved into linear combinations of base functions of the form $1(m,n)=\int^{-}_{-}\frac{e^{ikz}}{(1+z^{2})^{m}_{2}}\int^{2}_{-}\frac{e^{ikz}}{(1+z^{2})^{n}_{2}}dz^{\prime}$ Methods for calculating the base functions and the complete resonance functions, both analytic 1 and numerical, are being developed.
