Abstract

A simple cold cell for the FT-IR study of large gas-phase clusters has been used to obtain spectra for several molecular systems in various phases. Results for ice, ethers and $CO_{2}$ will be noted while particular attention will be directed to the case of HCl(s) clusters for which longitudinal optic modes dominate the spectra. Such results are indicative of the information on morphology of microcrystals contained in the spectra
