Abstract
The technique of IR laser sidebands has been applied to both molecules. On $NF_{3}$, a saturation spectrum of the $\nu_{1}$ fundamental has been recorded. On $PF_{5}$, the $\nu_{1}$ fundamental $(\sim 946 cm^{-1})$ has been investigated up to $J^{\prime\prime} = 76$. As a result, 11 parameters have been determined, yielding an overall standard deviation of 207 kHz. Around $1020 cm^{-1}$, in the range of the $\nu_{5} / 2\nu_{6}$ vibrations, a large number of saturation dips has been recorded with a resolution of about 100 kHz, but the spectrum has not been assigned so far.
