Abstract

It has been revealed that the efficiency of reversible dynamic decreasing of light absorption for organic dye molecules absorbed in porous silicate glass in strong optical filed essentially depends on dye molecules concentration. Discovered phenomenon may be explained taking into account processes of nonradiative transfer of electronic excitation energy between adsorbed molecules in conditions of fractal spatial distribution of adsorbed molecules in porous glass. At the same, it has been performed computations that make use of the experimental results on the bleaching processes to evaluate lifetimes of electronic excitated states for dye molecules in porous glass as well as in solution.
