Abstract

Last year at this conference, we reported the development of microwave-detected microwave-optical double resonance. This new technique had given us sufficient sensitivity to make rotational assignments of the $NH_{3}$ overtone bands with 3, 4, 5, and 6 quanta of NH stretch. The spectra are analyzed by combining the MODR signals and their polarization dependence with high quality line positions and intensities from absorption spectra. For v=5 and v=6 the spectra were obtained by photoacoustic spectroscopy, and for v=3 and v=4 were supplied by Bill Neal and Don Ramsey of the Herzberg Institute. The results of the analyses will be presented.
