Lattice regions of $CO2,CS2$, and OCS have been investigated using laser and Toronto are excitation. The lattice modes were recorded for temperatures down to liquid nitrogen temperature. Values derived for $CO2$ during this investigation differ substantially from those previously $reported.1$ The Raman frequency of the mode found for OCS compares favorably with that established from infrared $work.2$ A comparison of the frequencies of the bands found in the lattice region with those appearing in combination with internal vibrations will be discussed.
