Abstract

The high resolution infrared emission spectra of gas phase BF and AIF were recorded at 1400C using a Bruker IFS 120HR Fourier transform spectrometer. The rotationally resolved spectra were analysed, and spectroscopic constants were derived Preliminary equilibrium constants for the ground state BF are: \begin{eqnarray*} \begin{array}{lll} \omega_{e} =1402.1551(3)\ cm^(-1), & \omega_{e}X_{e} =11.8209(2)\ cm^(-1),&\omega_{e} y_{e} =0.05158(4)\ cm^(-1)\ B_{e}= 1.5116738(1)\ cm^{-1}, & \alpha_{e}= 1.90482(3) \times 10^{-2} \ cm^{-1},& D_{e}= 7.0944(7) \times 10^{-6}\ cm^{-1}, \end{array} \end{eqnarray*} The analysis of AIF will also be presented.
