Knowledge Bank

The microwave spectra of nine isotopic species of germylisothiocyanate have been observed in the 26.5 to 40.0 GHz region. The spectrum is consistent with that expected for a symmetric top molecule and it is shown that the heavy atom skeleton is linear. Structural parameters will be presented and the results will be compared with those obtained for the germylisocyanate molecule.
