Abstract

This past summer I interned for Keller Engineering Inc., a small structural engineering company located in South Bend, Indiana. During my time at this company, I applied programs such as RISA and EnerCalc to analyze, model, and design structural building systems. Furthermore, I collaborated with clients and architects to develop efficient and economically viable solutions to problems we were presented with. My main project was designing the structure and connections of temporary stairs to be installed in the Notre Dame Stadium for a Garth Brooks concert to serve as more forms of egress.
