An elderly academic on crutches surrounded by a bevy of buxom cheerleaders with pompoms, in a composition based on Ascension, Apotheosis, and Assumption imagery. A couple embraces in the sky between puti, above an ape tipping his top hat and a swan foraging at lower right. The lithograph was printed by Tom Gordon at Ohio Northern University, to commemorate the artist's pending retirement. An impression was used as the support for Paper Pulp Beauties [CMA 2005.015.017].
