Abstract

Infrared and Raman spectra will be reported for $Os^{16} O_{4}$ and $Os^{18} O_{4}$. Auharmonicity corrections were estimated and the resulting harmonic frequencies used to determine the general quadratic force constants. The relative effectiveness of Coriolis constants and isotopic frequency shifts in determining the force field will be compared and discussed.
