Abstract

The Champion Intergenerational Center is a university-community collaboration whose mission is for older adults, children, and university students to work together with staff/faculty to advance knowledge, health, and wellness across the lifespan. All generations are engaged, feel valued, and find purpose. Students train with children, elders, and families in a unique community setting in a neighborhood undergoing tremendous revitalization. Our collective vision is to improve the lives of all generations through discovery, learning, and service.
