Abstract

The medium resolution (Δν=0.125 cm−1) IR spectra of the 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0 bands of 35CIF and 37CIF have been recorded and analyzed. The constants ωe,ωexe, and De have been precisely determined for the first time. The Be and αe constants agree with those determined from earlier microwave data.1 Preliminary values of some of the constants (in cm−10 are given below: [FIGURE]
