Abstract

The microwave spectrum of cis-1, 1, 2, 3-tetrafluorocyclopropane has been investigated in the region of 26.5 to 40.0 GHz. A rigid-rotor fit of fifteen $\mu_{c}$ type R-branch transitions yields the rotational constants: $A =3450.37(1) MHz\quad B = 2402.81(1) MHz\quad C = 2060.21(1) MHz$ Transition frequncies were also determined for the two $K_{-1} = 12 + 13 \mu_{c}$ type Q-branch series from $J = 13$ to $J = 28$. Radio frequency - microwave double resonance techniques confirmed both the R and Q-branch assignments.
