McKee Hybrid poplar planted as 8" cutting with a tree planting machine in the spring of 1951 in OAES bottomland north of Secrest Road. H.R. Muckley showing frost damage. This ten-acre plot has been marked for a 50% thinning, leaving the best trees as crop trees. Trees to be cut for pulpwood in September, 1959. Item #5847
