Abstract

The infrared and Raman spectra of glutarimide have been investigated between 50 and 4000cm−1. The spectra have been recorded at ambient temperature for the crystalline and solution phases and will be analyzed in detail. A vibrational description of the molecule will be presented, and its interesting biological activity will be discussed.
