A ROVIBRATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE $\nu_{2}$ C-H STRETCHING VIBRATION ENERGY MANIFOLD IN THE LINEAR SPECIES HCN---HF

Abstract
Previously, the rovibrational spectrum of $\nu_{2}$, the C-H stretching vibration in the linear hydrogen-bonded species HCN---HF was analyzed through the use of frequency color-center laser spectrometer in our $laboratory.^{1}$ We now extend our analysis to include a total of twelve not bands involving $\nu_{2}$. These bands include the $\nu_{2}$ fundamental itself, as well as the not bands involving $\nu_{2}$ and each of the following states: $2\nu{^{0}}_{7}, \nu{^{1}}_{7}, 2\nu{^{2}}_{7}, 3\nu{^{3}}_{7}, 3\nu^{1}_{7}, 4\nu{^{0}}_{7}, 4\nu{^{2}}_{7}, 4\nu^{4}_{7}, \nu_{4}, \nu_{4} + \nu{^{1}}_{7}$, and $\nu_{4}+2\nu{^{2}}_{7}$. We report the relevant rovibrational parameters $\nu_{0}, B^{\prime}, B^{\prime}, D^{\prime}$ and $D^{\prime}$ for each band, as well as the splitting constants $q^{\prime}$ and $q^{\prime}$ for the doubly degenerate bands.
