Abstract

Previously, the rovibrational spectrum of ν2, the C-H stretching vibration in the linear hydrogen-bonded species HCN---HF was analyzed through the use of frequency color-center laser spectrometer in our laboratory.1 We now extend our analysis to include a total of twelve not bands involving ν2. These bands include the ν2 fundamental itself, as well as the not bands involving ν2 and each of the following states: 2ν07,ν17,2ν27,3ν37,3ν71,4ν07,4ν27,4ν74,ν4,ν4+ν17, and ν4+2ν27. We report the relevant rovibrational parameters ν0,B,B,D and D for each band, as well as the splitting constants q and q for the doubly degenerate bands.
