Abstract
A survey of a large number of hydrogen-bonded dimers and higher polymers has been performed by molecular beam electric deflection techniques. Species studied include polymers of ammonia, nitric acid, low molecular weight carboxylic acids, alcohols, amines and some bifunctional molecules. The results will be presented and interpreted qualitatively in terms of the structures and stereochemistry of these hydrogen-bonded species. Possibilities for obtaining microwave spectra of these molecules by molecular beam techniques will also be discussed.
