Abstract

With the aid of the recently completed optical analysis of $NHD^{1}$, it has been possible to measure a number of microwave transitions by Microwave-Optical-Double-Resonance (MODR) techniques. Unlike $NH_{2}$ there are ``type a’’ electric dipole transitions involving low lying rotational levels whose transition frequencies are in the conventional microwave regime. These measurements could be important in the detection of amino radical in the interstellar media. The results of the measurement of both electric and magnetic dipole allowed transitions will be compared will that predicted from the parameters previously determined for $NH_{2}$.
