Complicated subband patterns observed in off-central regions of the torsional fundamental (measured with $0.3cm-1$ spectral resolution) were analyzed in the framework of a semirigid symmetric rotor model. The main results, which will be discussed in comparison with model calculations, are a unique K-assignment over a considerable region of the band and estimates for the frequencies of the pure torsional transitions $0(A)\to 1(A)(143.63cm-1)$ and $0(E)\to 1(E)(142.10cm-1)$.
