Abstract

The A2X2Σ transition of ZrN between 5631 and 5879 \AA has been studdied using laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. ZrN was produced by reacting vaporized ZrCl4 with microwave discharged N2 gas. All the 12 branches of the (0,0) and (1,1) bands have been observed and assigned. Various perturbations in v = 0 and 1 level of the 2Π state have been found, The magnetic hyperfine structure of the 91Zrn has also been identified, Molecular constants of both the A2Π and X2Σ states of four isotopic molecules will be reported.
