Abstract

The $A^{2}-X^{2}\Sigma$ transition of ZrN between 5631 and 5879 \AA has been studdied using laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. ZrN was produced by reacting vaporized $ZrCl_{4}$ with microwave discharged $N_{2}$ gas. All the 12 branches of the (0,0) and (1,1) bands have been observed and assigned. Various perturbations in v = 0 and 1 level of the $^{2}\Pi$ state have been found, The magnetic hyperfine structure of the $^{91}Zrn$ has also been identified, Molecular constants of both the $A^{2}\Pi$ and $X^{2}\Sigma$ states of four isotopic molecules will be reported.
