Abstract

The rotational spectrum of the weak complex between krypton and phosphorus trifluoride has been observed using a Fourier transform microwave spectrometer with a pulsed supersonic nozzle molecular beam source. The complex is an asymmetric top. The distance $r_{cm}$ between the krypton atom and the center of mass of the $PF_{3}$ molecule is 4.072 A and the angle between the rcm vector and the $C_{3}$ axis of the $PF_{3}$ is 68.25*. The $P_{4}$ centrifugal distortion constants, the dipole moment and the 83Kr quadrupole coupling constants have also been determined. The results will be compared to those of Ar-PF3.
