A half-length portrait of the title character Yentl smoking a pipe, with the title at the top in script. It was created for a Columbus Jewish Community Center theater production of the play based on the short story by Isaac Bashevis Singer [CMA 2001.034.152]. The woodcut was subsequently combined with text and reproduced as an offset lithograph poster. Several proofs were sold at auction to benefit the JCC.
