Abstract

“The emission from small flames, mainly hydrocarbons, have been measured and the spectral radiance of a few will be shown. The goodness of the temperature detemination from this data will be illustrated by examples and the method $described^{1}$ The general features of such flames will be explained. The spectral radiance of several non-hydrocardon flames will also be discussed.”
