Abstract
The optical absorption spectra of semiquinone and related anions have been studied kinetically in electron pulse radiolysis. The resonance Raman spectra have been obtained by generating the transient anions chemically in a fast flow system. The observed spectra, band polarizations and the Raman excitation profile are interpreted to assign the molecular vibrations and the resonant electronic transition.
