Abstract

Caron's talk focused on Taliban poetry, both oral and written, memoirs, transcribe​d folklore and modern media that shape Pashtun society and the Taliban. He looks at the perception​s of the Taliban both concrete and imagined, from the socio-poli​tical and the cultural history taken together.
