Knowledge Bank

Using a scannable Fabry-Perot interferometer, we have obtained multiplexed spectra for the $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">2</mrow>}\Pi 1/2$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">2</mrow>}\Pi 3/2$ states of the NO molecule. The transmitted patterns are compared with theoretical computations and rotational constants are derived.
