Abstract
The high resolution infrared absorption spectrum of the NCCNO molecule has been recorded for the first time in the gas phase with a Bruker IFS 120 spectrometer at a resolution of $0.005 cm^{-1}$. All of the vibrational modes except the lowest bending mode have been recorded along with several combination bands. The observed vibrational frequencies agree very well with $MP2/6-31G^{\ast}$ calculations which suggest that NCCNO is a linear molecule.
