Abstract

In this paper we present new results on the line broadening of five lines from the $\nu_{3}$ band $(2 \leq N^{\prime\prime} \leq 17, 1 \leq K^{\prime\prime} \leq 5)$ for collisions with $NO_{2}, N_{2}, He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe$ and $CO_{2}$ in addition to our recent analysis of about 40 lines in the $\nu_{3}$ band of $NO_{2}$ for collisions with $NO_{2}, N_{2}$, He, Kr, and $Ar^{1}$. The dependence of the broadering coefficients on the noble gas perturbers will be compared with those in the case of ${SO_{2}}^{2}$. The report will be completed by the determination of a line shift coefficient of $-(0.011 \pm 0.004) cm^{-1}/atm$ for the doublet $^{7}R_{20}$ and broadening coefficients for individual lines from the hot band $\nu_{2} + \nu_{3} + \nu_{2}$ and for one line from the $2\nu_{2}$ combination band.
