The emission lines of the mixed crystal system of pentacene in terphenyl show appreciable narrowing at 1.7$\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">\circ </mrow>}K$ with narrow line ($\sim$ $0.015cm-1$) laser excitation. The emission lines were found to have a width on the order of $0.034cm-1$. Some evidence indicates that the observed line width may be system limited so that the actual line width of the 0-0 band may approach the radiation width.
