Abstract

The microwave spectra of the normal isotopic species of $CF_{2}=NCl^{1,2}$ and $CF_{2}=NH^{3,4}$ have been reported. The $^{15}N$ and $^{13}C$ modifications of these molecules have been synthesized recently and their microwave spectra are currently being investigated. Preliminary results include rotational constant for $CF_{2}=^{15}NH$ [11453.8734(14). 10406.8540(13) and 5524.4432(12) MHz] and for $CF_{2}=^{15}N^{35}Cl$ [11091.6714(26), 2541.6901(6) and 2066.2876(5) MHz] and the quadrupole coupling constants $\ch_{aa},\ch_{bb}-\ch_{cc}$ and $\ch_{ab}$ for $CF_{2}^{15}N^{35}Cl$. The consequences of the new for the structure of these interesting small molecules will be discussed.
