Abstract

The microwave spectra of the normal isotopic species of CF2=NCl1,2 and CF2=NH3,4 have been reported. The 15N and 13C modifications of these molecules have been synthesized recently and their microwave spectra are currently being investigated. Preliminary results include rotational constant for CF2=15NH [11453.8734(14). 10406.8540(13) and 5524.4432(12) MHz] and for CF2=15N35Cl [11091.6714(26), 2541.6901(6) and 2066.2876(5) MHz] and the quadrupole coupling constants \chaa,\chbb−\chcc and \chab for CF215N35Cl. The consequences of the new for the structure of these interesting small molecules will be discussed.
