Hand-crocheted U.S. flag made by Mrs. Harry Haff, Jr. of Seaford, New York, presented to John Glenn following his Friendship 7 space flight in 1962. (Considered by Glenn to be one of the best items he received from the public due to his space flight - as quoted in a 1964 newspaper clipping.)
