“Absolute infrared absorption intensities for the fundamental vibrations of HDO have been measured in solution using either $H2O$ or $D2O$ as solvent. The integrated intensities found for $\nu 1,\nu 2$ and $\nu 3$ are respectively 22,700 and 3,690 and 49,000 darks. Details of the experimental measurements will be communicated as well as a brief discussion of the intensity results.”
