Abstract
The intensity of combination modes in the infrared reflection spectra of single crystals is generally too weak to observe. However polarized reflection spectra in a few uniaxial crystals reveal combination modes originating from internal optic mode fundamentals and also combination modes resulting from internal optic modes and external lattice modes. The assignments and polarization properties of the fundamental and combination modes in $LiIO_{3}$, $KBrO_{3}$, and $RbClO_{3}$ single crystals will be discussed.
