Abstract

For my STEP project, I traveled to Japan on a faculty-led program. We spent two weeks in Columbus prior to departing for Japan where we had rigorous discussions about traditional and modern culture in Japan. While in the country we used observational skills to build a deeper understanding of how popular culture has become popular in Japan and its relationship to American culture.
