Abstract
Communicating research to broad audiences is crucial in this funding climate (and fact-resistant era). This presentation offers an overview of the reasons why faculty should be communicating to non-specialist audiences (e.g., obligation, public mission, name recognition), as well as provide a model for teaching strategies to faculty—the Communicating Science Seminar Series developed for U-M Medical School researchers.
