Abstract

A collection of early archaeological photographs taken by Walter C. Metz (1879-136) is described. Views consist of artifacts from the Marlowe and Warner burial mounds, and other Licking Co., Ohio, sites. Views of Buffalo Bill's Rough Riders taken at a May 18, 1901, appearance in Newark are also included, as well as bone artifacts attributed to the Baum Site, Ross Co., Ohio.
