Abstract
Rocket Laboratory, which consisted of four buildings, was located at 2240 Olentangy River Road. However, all structures in this complex carried the address 2240 Olentangy River Road in the records of the Office of Campus Planning. These structures were never officially named by Board of Trustees action. They were also known as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Research Foundation Laboratories, the Research Foundation Project 222, the Research Testing Laboratory, the Cryogenic Laboratory, the Jet Building, the Research Huts, the Research Foundation Building, Contract 222, and the Rocket Research Laboratory. Building A was also known as the Laboratory Hut and the West Quonset. Building B was also known as the Experimental Laboratory and the East Quonset. Building C was also known as the Boiler House and the Heating Plant. Building D was also known as the Testing Laboratory.
