Abstract

Spectroscopic constants for carbon disulfide have been derived from moleculair constants obtained from our analysis of over 30 bands of $CS_{2}$ in the $1500 cm^{-1}$ spectral region. The experimental data were obtained with both a high information Fourier transform spectrometer and a tunable diode laser spectrometer system. The tunable diode laser spectra included several scans with a 3 S enriched sample in addition to those obtained with a natural sample. The results obtained will be compared with previously published values.
